Eagles Finish Play at 2023 ACC Championship

Cameron Harlock led the Eagles, tying for 19th place after a final round 70 (-2)
PINEHURST, N.C. -- The Boston College men's golf team finished 11th at the 2023 ACC Championship, held at the Country Club of North Carolina. The Eagles finished with a team score of 878 (300-292-286), improving in each of the three rounds they played. The team leaderboard saw seven strokes separate places 8-11.
Cameron Harlock was BC's top finisher, tying for 19th place (75-72-70=217). Harlock fired his low round of the tournament - a 2-under par 70 - during Sunday's final round of stroke play. The tournament was postponed for the better part of a day due to unplayable weather conditions.
Ben Hong tied for 28th place (76-69-74=219). His best round of the championship came during the second round - a 3-under 69. Muzzy Donohue (76-76-69=221) posted a final round 69, tying for 38th place for the tournament.
Jack Pogorelc tied for 44th (73-75-76=224), posting his best score during the opening 18 holes of competition. Nick Cummings tied for 55th place (77-78-73=228), registering a 1-over par 73 during Sunday's third round.
Boston College ranked third among field on par 5 holes, averaging 4.65 strokes and playing the holes at a collective 21-under. Hong was 8-under on par 5's (4.33 stroke avg.) and finished with 13 birdies - both fourth-best among the field. Cummings was 12th among all golfers on par 5's, playing them at 5-under (4.58 avg.). Harlock was fifth-best in the tournament for pars, with 39.
