Louisville Hangs On Against BC in First Round of ACC Tournament

Freshman Natalie Eordekian earns straight-set singles win in postseason debut
CARY, N.C. — The No. 11 seed Boston College Eagles fell 4-3 to the No. 14 Louisville Cardinals in the first round of the ACC Tournament on Wednesday afternoon.
After dropping the doubles point, Boston College got on the board with a straight-set singles victory from Natalie Eordekian at No. 6. Down 3-1, the Eagles responded. Laura Lopez and Sophia Edwards, who both dropped their first set, rallied to win their singles matches in three sets to even the match at 3-3. Coming down to the final singles match, the Cardinals prevailed in three sets to advance in the tournament.
