Five Singles Wins Power Eagles over Merrimack

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — The Boston College Eagles earned their seventh win of the season with a 6-1 victory over Merrimack on Tuesday night.

The Eagles first and third doubles teams of Max Motlagh and Juan Jose Bianchi (6-1), and Will Kasten and Anesh Jayasundera (6-2), lost just three combined games to open the scoring in doubles.

Motlagh, Bianchi, and Connor McDonald all won their singles matches in straight sets. Jake Vassel and Shreekar Eedara finished the match with wins in their third-set tiebreakers.

The Eagles' regular season concludes this weekend with matches against N.C. State and Wake Forest, with the ACC Tournament coming up on April 19.
