
Grant to Appear as March Madness Special Analyst on WBZ-TV / CBS4

Throughout the tournament, Grant will appear on Sunday nights as part of WBZ's Sports Final
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- Boston College's Clement and Elizabeth Izzi Family Head Men's Basketball Coach Earl Grant will again join WBZ-TV / CBS4 as a March Madness Special Analyst. Â
Throughout the tournament, Grant will provide insight and commentary on the matchups and storylines throughout the 2023 NCAA Tournament on Sunday nights as part of WBZ's Sports Final. He debuts tonight alongside Dan Roche at 11:35 p.m.
This season, Grant guided the Eagles to a 16-17 overall record, including a 9-11 mark in ACC play. BC advanced to the second round of the ACC Tournament, downing Louisville before falling to North Carolina. The 16 wins were the most since the 2017-18 season and the nine ACC victories were the most since 2010-11. His Eagles' squad captured four road wins in ACC play for the first time since 2008-09 and earned three victories over nationally ranked teams, including a win over No. 6/6 Virginia on Jan. 28.
In 2017-18, Grant led the College of Charleston to the Big Dance, going 26-8 overall record and 14-4 in Colonial Athletic Association play to capture both the regular season and conference tournament titles. As an assistant coach, Grant was a part of four teams that made NCAA Tournament appearances - three with Winthrop and one with Clemson.
