Jerry York to be Inducted Into Massachusetts Hockey Hall of Fame

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Hockey Hall of Famer Jerry York '67 will be inducted into the Massachusetts Hockey Hall of Fame later this month. The 27th annual luncheon and induction ceremony will take place at Anthony's of Malden on Sunday, Nov. 19.

On Nov. 18, 2019, York was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto, making him only the fifth coach in NCAA history to be inducted and the first to exclusively coach at the collegiate level. On Dec. 9, 2021, he was officially inducted into the United States Hockey Hall of Fame.
York was named the 2023 Legend of College by the Hobey Baker Memorial Award Foundation and was honored over the summer in Minnesota.
College hockey's all-time winningest coach with 1,123 career wins, York retired following the 2021-22 season after 50 years in Division I and 28 years coaching at his alma mater. He brought four NCAA Championships to the Heights, including three in a span of five years (2001, 2008, 2010, 2012).
As a player for the Eagles, York was a three-year letterman from 1964-67 and had 134 points (64 goals and 70 assists) in 81 games played. He was a First Team All-American and won the Walter Brown Award as a senior in 1967.
