Steven Jackson places 55th overall to lead the Eagles
BRONX, N.Y. — Boston College Men's Cross Country competed at the 2023 NCAA Northeast Regionals in the Bronx, New York on Friday afternoon at Van Cortlandt Park.
Steven Jackson finished 55th overall to lead the Eagles, clocking a time of 30:42.8 in the Men's ten-kilometer course.Â
Andrew Healey completed the course with a time of 31:31.5, placing him 108th overall. A trio of Eagles finished within seven seconds of each other. Peter Fox crossed the finish line in 110th place, with a time of 31:35.0. Eero Helenius finished at 31:38.4 placing 116th, while Edward Sullivan (31:42.6) was the final scorer for the Eagles.  Â
John Garvey (32.28.5) placed 167th, while Sam Ellis placed 185th (32:52.3) to round out the group of Eagles who competed today.Â
As a team, Boston College placed 17th overall, compiling 504 points. Iona (40) won the regional team title, followed by Harvard (57), Syracuse (97), Providence (145), and Cornell (161) to round out the top-five.
