The Duo Posts a 2-1 Record on the Weekend
PRINCETON, N.J. -- Juan Jose Bianchi and Jake Vassel kept the Eagles busy this weekend, advancing to the Final Four of the ITA Northeast Super Regionals Doubles Draw.
The duo of Bianchi and Vassel came out of the gates rolling, cruising past Penn 6-1, 6-3 for their first win on Friday. Saturday's quarterfinals action pitted Boston College against the hosting Princeton as the Eagles were able to emerge victorious in a 6-2, 7-6 bout.
BC found themselves in a local rivalry in the Final Four, drawing Harvard's Cooper Williams and Daniel Milavsky in a top-seeded matchup. The pair would fight to the very end, forcing a third set, but fell just short 3-6, 6-3, [6-10].
