Boston College Blanks UMass for Third Straight Win

WEYMOUTH, Mass. -- Boston College improved to 4-1 on the season with a 7-0 win over UMass on Saturday night. The Eagles' second straight shutout extended their win streak to three.

BC took a 1-0 lead in doubles, with Seren Agar and Laura Lopez earning a 6-3 win at No. 1, and Natalie Eordekian and Muskan Mahajan clinching the point. Eordekian, Seren Agar and Stephanie Sanchez all won their singles matches in straight sets, with Lopez and Sophia Edwards picking up singles victories as well.

With her 6-2, 6-2 singles win today, freshman Seren Agar improves to 5-0 in singles this spring, and is a perfect 5-0 in doubles as well.

The Eagles will go on the road for matches against Dartmouth and Stonehill next weekend.
