
Boston College Secures Two Sweeps to Open Spring Season

Eagles roll to 7-0 wins over SNHU and Stonehill in doubleheader
WALPOLE, Mass. — Boston College opened their spring season with 7-0 wins over SNHU and Stonehill on Friday night.
Jake Vassel, Mai Gao, Will Kasten, and Connor McDonald all took home straight-set singles victories against SNHU, as all six Eagles won their singles matches en route to a 7-0 win in the first leg of the doubleheader. The Eagles also swept doubles, with the duos of Max Motlagh and Will Kasten, JJ Bianchi and Mai Gao, and Mason Fung and Jake Vassel all taking their matches to open the scoring for Boston College.Â
The momentum carried over into the second match, as all three doubles teams were victorious once again. All six singles players won their matches in straight sets to cap off a dominant spring season opener.Â
The Eagles will now prepare for another home match on Saturday, February 4, against Siena at 3:30.Â
