
Donohue Leads Eagles to Fifth Place Finish in Season Opener

Senior ties for seventh place at the Turning Stone Tiger Intercollegiate
VERONA, N.Y. -- Boston College opened its 2022 fall slate with a fifth place finish at the Turning Stone Tiger Intercollegiate. The Eagles' score for the 54-hole tournament was 882, two shots off fourth place and 10 shots shy of third place on the team leaderboard.
Muzzy Donohue was BC's top finisher, tying for seventh place overall (73-71-71=215). Donahue opened with a 73 before back-to-back rounds of 71. Donohue finished at 1-under, carding seven birdies and an eagle on the par 4 10th hole during Monday's final round.
Nick Cummings tied for 24th place, improving in each round of play (76-74-73=223), while Benjamin Hong (76-71-77=224) and Mac Bredahl (75-72-77=224) were each one shot back of Cummings. Mac Lee tied for 36th place (81-75-73=229).
Individually, Jack Pogorelc tied for 40th place (77-79-75=231), while Joseph Hemsley placed 57th (81-78-85=244).
