August 22, 2022 | Men's Hockey
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College men's hockey has announced its schedule for the upcoming 2022-23 season, Greg Brown's first at the helm as head coach of the program.
Season tickets are on sale now at BCEagles.com and by calling 617-552-GoBC.
The Eagles will play a 34-game slate, including 24 Hockey East contests. Half of those league games will come against opponents that BC is scheduled to face three times: Boston University, UConn, Maine and Northeastern.
The 10-game non-conference schedule is highlighted by the season opener against Quinnipiac at Conte Forum, a visit from Notre Dame on Thanksgiving weekend, and a two-game trip to Arizona State just before New Year's.
Boston College will also travel to Brown and Sacred Heart during the non-conference portion of the schedule. The Eagles are set to play Harvard in the first round of the 70th Beanpot at TD Garden on Monday, Feb. 6.
After hosting Quinnipiac to begin the season on Oct. 7, BC heads north to the Whittemore Center for its Hockey East opener against UNH the following Saturday, Oct. 15. The schools meet again the following Sunday, Oct. 23 for the league home opener on the Heights.
The Eagles will complete two-game regular season series against Merrimack and Providence during the first half, and the 288th Battle of Comm Ave closes the first semester at Kelley Rink on Friday, Dec. 9.
The Terriers return to the Heights on Saturday, Jan. 28 to close a home-and-home series between the longtime rivals. The second half of the season also brings Vermont, UMass, Maine and UConn to Conte Forum. Boston College closes the year with four of its final five games on the road.
Game times and single game tickets will be released at a future date. All dates are subject to change.
