North Collects ACC Offensive Player of the Week Honor

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Boston College lacrosse senior Charlotte North was named the ACC's Offensive Player of the Week, the office announced on Tuesday.Â
It's the fifth time this season North garners the weekly conference honor (Co or Overall). She is coming off a two-game stretch with eight goals, three assists, 11 points, 11 draw controls and a .688 shot on goal percentage.
The Dallas, Texas native highlighted her week with a game-high seven goals in an 18-8 win over Virginia Tech on Saturday. She tied her season best for the fourth time this season and tallied eight draw controls.
North is the nation's active leading goal scorer with 323 goals, while she is closing in on the NCAA record for goals in a career. She is 19 away from breaking Courtney Murphy's all-time mark of 341.Â
The Eagles return to action on Senior Day against Notre Dame at 2 pm on Saturday in Alumni Field.Â
