
Eagles to Face Virginia Tech in First Round of ACC Tournament

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College lacrosse team enters the 2022 ACC Tournament hosted by Notre Dame in South Bend, Ind. as the No. 2 seed.Â
The Eagles will face No. 7 seed Virginia Tech on Friday at 5 p.m. The winner will advance to the semifinals on Sunday and will face the winner of No. 3 Syracuse and No. 6 Virginia at 3:30 p.m. The championship will take place the following weekend at the higher seed's campus.Â
BC earned the second seed after a three-way tie with Duke and Syracuse and boasted the highest goal differential between the schools in head-to-head competition.Â
3-way tie for #2Â seed:
BC defeated the Hokies earlier this season at home in an 18-8 victory.Â
