Eagles Close Spring Season in Second Round of ACC's

Rome, GA. -- The Eagles season ended at the hands of No. 32 Georgia Tech in the second round of the ACC Tournament on Thursday night, with the Yellow Jackets winning 4-0, and clinching as the Eagles began to threaten in the singles round. Laura Lopez, Plobrung Plipuech, and Sophia Edwards were all in control through two sets, looking poised to bring the Eagles back into the match before the clincher was scored.

Plipuech was leading 6-4, 4-3 in her second set with a chance at a straight set point.

With Natasha Irani and Plobrung Plipuech graduating this year, the Eagles will return six players as preparations begin for the 2022-23 season.
