Eagles Bounce Back with Shutout Win over Assumption

Eagles will conclude regular season at Virginia Tech and Virginia next weekend
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- The Eagles bounced back after falling to Louisville on Sunday morning with a dominant 7-0 victory over Assumption on Sunday afternoon. The Eagles got on the board early against the Cardinals, taking the doubles point with wins from Mason Fung and Jake Vassel, and Will Kasten and Matt Campbell.Â
Those two teams, along with Juan Jose Bianchi and Max Motlagh, all picked up doubles wins later on against Assumption as well. All six Eagles won their singles matches in straight sets against Assumption, including 6-0, 6-0 wins from Shreekar Eedara and Bennett Turner.Â
The Eagles will conclude their regular season on the road next weekend at Virginia Tech and Virginia.Â
