Eagles head home with matches against NC State and Wake Forest next weekend
Carrboro, N.C. -- The Eagles fell 6-1 on Sunday afternoon to the top-ranked UNC Tar Heels at the Chapel Hill Tennis Club to cap their road trip. The Eagles move to 5-6 and 2-4 in the ACC, as the Tar Heels remain undefeated and a perfect 6-0 in conference. Freshman Stephanie Sanchez added another conference win to her resume, taking the first set 6-2 and battling back to win the singles point with a 6-3 win in the third set.Â
The Eagles will return home for two more big tests against North Carolina State and Wake Forest next weekend.Â
