
Eagles Cruise to 2-0 With Decisive Win in DC

BC drops just one of seven races all weekend
WASHINGTON, DC. -- In the John Jackson Memorial Team Race hosted by Georgetown over the weekend, the Eagles went a commanding 6-1 over the two days to take first place out of eight and move to 2-0 on the spring season. In the cross regional regatta, the Eagles defeated Georgetown, Hobart and William Smith, Tulane, Old Dominion, U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, SUNY Maritime College, and Vermont to preserve their undefeated spring record.Â
Led by skippers Jack DeNatale, Robert Hunter, and Sophia Reineke, and crew Nicole Moeder, Emma Batcher, and Katelyn McGauley, the Eagles went 6-1, with Georgetown handing them their lone loss of the weekend.Â
The spring season continues to ramp up for BC, with three regattas this coming weekend: the Southern New England Team Race, Geiger Team Race, and Camel Fleet Race.Â
