Eagles Roll In Shutout Victory Over Comets To End Road Trip

DALLAS -- The Eagles bounced back in the best way possible on Friday night, taking down the Comets 7-0 and going a perfect 9-0 across both singles and doubles matches. The duo of Jake Vassel and Bennett Turner got it started with a 6-2 doubles win, and the pairs of Max Motlagh and Will Kasten, and Shreekar Eedara and Mason Fung followed suit to clinch the doubles point.

Kasten, Eedara, and Connor McDonald took home their singles matches in straight sets, and Mason Fung dominated with a 6-0, 6-0 singles win of his own. Max Motlagh secured his match in a third set tiebreak to preserve the shutout.

The Eagles will return home ahead of a home match against the Duke Blue Devils this Friday at 3:00.
