Eagles Compete in Winter Invite in Last Competition Before ACC's

BOSTON -- In the final meet ahead of the ACC Championships next week in Atlanta, the Eagles competed against Boston University, Brown, Colgate, Fairfield, Holy Cross, MIT, Northeastern, Sacred Heart, Trinity, Tufts, and Wesleyan.

The meet was not scored, but several Eagles took home accolades. Kate Cilley and Mackenna Buchanan earned NCAA Zone Cuts in the three-meter dive. Cilley scored a 305.40, and Buchanan recorded a 300.20 to earn the cuts. On the same diving board, Anna Mae King broke a twenty-year old school record in the three-meter dive, scoring a 330.50 to make history and earn a NCAA Zone Cut to join Cilley and Buchanan.

HIGHLIGHTS:
• Izzy Schone and Abby Russell placed first and second in the women's 500 freestyle
• Kenneth Thien and Cole Gvozdas placed first and second in the men's 200 individual medley
• Ryan Price and Cole Gvozdas placed first and second in the men's 400 individual medley

The Eagles' ACC qualifiers will head to Atlanta to compete in the ACC Championships at Georgia Tech starting next Tuesday.
