CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — Boston College women's tennis head coach Nigel Bentley has announced the signing of two new recruits in the Class of 2027, Nada Dimovska and Tola Glowacka.
Nada Dimovska comes to The Heights as a graduate transfer from the University of Miami. During her 2021-22 season, Dimovska went 1-1 at the Miami Spring Invite, and finished 1-1 in the Qualifying Round at the ITA Southeast Regional Championships. Prior to college, Dimovska was ranked as high as the fifth-best prospect in her class, per TennisRecruiting.net. In 2017, she reached as high as No. 45 in the USTA U18 rankings. In ITF Junior Singles, she logged a 45-32 record, and won a Grade Five singles tournament in 2017.
Tola Glowacka comes to Chestnut Hill as a five-star recruit, ranked as high as No. 2 in her class in New York, and No. 26 in the nation per TennisRecruiting.Net. The incoming freshman reached the finals in the National Clay Court Championships in the women's u16 division, and is a recipient of the USTA Silver Ball. Glowacka won the "Super Six" Tournament in August 2020, and also won the L3 National Empire Cup in doubles and mixed.
The 2022-23 fall season concluded for the Eagles earlier this month, and the spring season will begin in January.
"This is a great day for Boston College Women's Tennis," said Head Coach Nigel Bentley. "Nada and Tola will have a significant and immediate impact on our team. They are very talented players and they work really hard on the tennis court and in the classroom. They are high character individuals who share our team goals. Tola will be a freshman in the school of Arts and Sciences and Nada will be a graduate student in the Woods School. We are all super excited about their arrival on campus next August. Go Eagles!"
