Plobrung Plipuech clinched the win in her first match back
WEYMOUTH, Mass. -- In the second contest of the spring season, the Eagles kept their record perfect with a hard-fought victory against Brown University on Tuesday afternoon. With another strong doubles showing, the Eagles took down the Bears 4-3 after Plobrung Plipuech clinched the match with a third-set victory in her singles match.
"We hung in there and we were able to pull out the win today. I thought at times we played tentatively and made too many unforced errors. But overall we pulled together and got it done," said head coach Nigel Bentley. Plobrung was clutch in her first match back in a long time and Sophie had a big day too."
