
BC Trio Selected for 2022 PHF All-Star Showcase

Kali Flanagan ’19 and Katie Burt ’18 will represent the Boston Pride while Allie Thunstrom ’10 will represent the Minnesota Whitecaps and captain one of the three all-star squads.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Three former Boston College women's hockey players have been selected to compete in the 2022 Premier Hockey Federation All-Star Showcase. Kali Flanagan '19 and Katie Burt '18 will represent the Boston Pride while Allie Thunstrom '10 will represent the Minnesota Whitecaps and captain one of the three all-star squads.
This marks the third all-star honor for Thunstrom, the second for Burt and the first for Flanagan.
The 2022 PHF All-Star Showcase is set to take place on Saturday, Jan. 29 in Toronto and will stream live in the United States exclusively on ESPN+, in Canada to TSN and TSN Direct subscribers, and through the ESPN International distribution network.
In addition to captaining one of the three PHF all-star squads, Thunstrom will also take part in the 2022 Warrior/ECHL All-Star Classic on Monday, Jan. 17 in Jacksonville, Fla. The game will air live on NHL Network.
Thunstrom is in her fourth season playing professionally for the Minnesota Whitecaps. In eight games played in 2021-22, Thunstrom has four points off of three goals and one assist while firing 34 shots on goal and blocking six shots. Thunstrom holds the record for goals in a season with 24.
Burt is in her second stint with Boston, having played in 16 games for the team during the 2018-19 season. The NCAA's all-time wins leader is currently 3-1-0 with a 1.48 goals against average, .953 save percentage and one shutout for the Pride.
Flanagan is in her first season skating for the Pride and has put up two assists in two games while recording three shots on goal and one blocked shot.
