
Eagles Unveil 2021-22 Schedule

The Eagles will kick things off with a two-game series at Penn State on Thursday, Sept. 30 and again on Friday, Oct. 1.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College women's hockey team released its schedule for the 2021-22 season on Tuesday. The 34-game regular season slate includes a 27-game Hockey East schedule and a trip to the Smashville NCAA Women's Hockey Showcase in Nashville, Tenn.

The Eagles will kick things off with a two-game series at Penn State, facing the Nittany Lions for the first time ever on Thursday, Sept. 30 and again on Friday, Oct. 1.

After a quick trip to Merrimack on Oct. 9, BC will host New Hampshire in the home-opener on Friday, Oct. 15 before closing out that home-and-home series the next day in Durham. A single game at Kelley Rink against Maine (Oct. 23) precedes a home-and-home with Northeastern (Oct. 29 and Oct. 30). BC will then head to Harvard for a Tuesday night tilt on Nov. 9 before a home-and-home series with Providence (Nov. 12 and Nov. 13). Single game against Holy Cross (Nov. 19) and Boston University (Nov. 21) lead the Eagles into Nashville.

The Eagles will face Colgate on Friday, Nov. 26 and then, depending on results, face either Minnesota or Mercyhurst on Nov. 27.

The first semester wraps up with three road games, with the Eagles heading to Maine for two (Dec. 3 and Dec. 4) and Vermont for one (Dec. 10).

The second semester kicks off on Monday, Jan. 3 at home against Providence before the Battle of Commonwealth Avenue is renewed. The Terriers come to the Heights on Friday, Jan. 7 and then the Eagles head to Walter Brown Arena on Saturday, Jan. 8. After a home-and-away set with UConn (Jan. 14 and Jan. 15), BC will host Northeastern on Tuesday, Jan. 18. BC will then play a home-and-home series with Holy Cross (Jan. 21 and Jan. 22) before wrapping up the season series with UConn with a single game in Storrs (Jan. 28).

The 43rd Women's Beanpot begins on Tuesday, Feb. 1, with BC set to play the host-school Northeastern Huskies in the second semifinal. The championship and consolation games will be played at Matthews Arena on Feb. 8.

Between Beanpot Tuesdays, BC will play a single game at New Hampshire (Feb. 4). Regular season action wraps up with a home-and-home series against Merrimack (Feb. 11 and Feb. 12) and a two-game set against Vermont at Kelley Rink (Feb. 18 and Feb. 19).
