Hollowell Adds Houston to Staff

Elizabeth Houston joins the rowing staff as an assistant coach.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College rowing head coach Grace Hollowell announced the addition of Elizabeth Houston to the staff on Monday. Houston will serve as an assistant coach for the Eagles.
Houston has spent the last two years as an assistant coach of the boys' varsity team at the Boston Latin School and also has a coach at Community Rowing, Inc. At Boston Latin, she helps develop training plans and assists in daily practice, scheduling and regatta preparations. With Community Rowing, Houston is involved with youth inclusion/para rowers, adult recreation, crew league and learn to scull.
Houston was a member of the rowing team at Hobart and William Smith, competing for the Herons for three seasons. She was a member of the Varsity 8 that finished second in the petite final the 2016 NCAA Championships. Houston competed for the Vesper Boat Club during the summers, earning a pair of gold medals with the U23 8 boat at the 2016 Canadian Henley Regatta as well as being a member of the winning 8 boat at the U.S. National Senior/Elite 8+.
Currently, Houston is a member of the Women's Sweeps Team with the Riverside Boat Club.
Houston graduated from Hobart with a bachelor of arts in Media & Society and English in 2019
