
Dolan, Kea Compete at Team USA Olympic Trials

BC swimming duo the first to qualify for Olympic Trials on the women's side in program history.
OMAHA, Neb. -- Boston College swimmers Ali Kea (Westford, Mass.) and Haley Dolan (Bingham Falls, Mich.) competed in the Olympic Trials hosted by USA Swimming at the CHI Health Center over the weekend. The two Eagles, who were the first women in program history to qualify for the Olympic Trials, swam a time trial on Saturday before competing in the finals of the 50 meter free on Monday morning.
Dolan finished in 36th with a time of 26.33, while Kea finished in 47th at 26.59.
In 2020, Kea first earned qualification to the trials at the ACC Long Course Invitational with a time of 25.86. Dolan joined her last month with a 25.88 at the North Carolina Long Course Qualifier. BC teammate Ashleigh Scott (Oakville, Ont.) is tentatively set to compete in Swimming Canada's Olympic Trials June 19-23 in Toronto.
