GREENSBORO, N.C. – Boston College forward Jenna Bike and defender Michela Agresti have earned 2021 Women's Soccer All-ACC Academic Team honors, as announced Wednesday by the conference. This marks the first All-ACC Academic honor for both Bike and Agresti.
Minimum academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. Athletic achievements during the most recent season are also considered in selecting the All-ACC Academic Team.
Bike, a team captain, started in all 14 contests for the Eagles during the 2020-21 season. The nursing graduate student finished second on the team in scoring with 10 points on four goals and two assists and led the team in shots (40) and shots on goal (20). Bike was named the ACC Co-Offensive Player of the Week once during the season.
Agresti, a psychology major, played and started all 14 games on the back line for the Eagles. She played at least 90 minutes in every contest, including a season-high 110 minutes against Wake Forest. The rising junior recorded her first career goal this spring as well, finding the back of the net against Rhode Island.
The ACC Honor Roll, which recognizes all conference student-athletes with a grade point average of 3.0 for the current academic year, will be released in July.
