Five Eagles Earn Rowing All-ACC Academic Honors

Jacqueline Tauebel picked up her third career All-Academic honor.
GREENSBORO, N.C. – Five Boston College rowers have earned 2021 All-ACC Academic Team honors, as announced Monday by the conference.

Jacqueline Taeubel picked up her third career All-Academic honor from the ACC while Rachel Taeubel earned her second. The seniors were joined on the All-ACC Academic Team by juniors Olivia Larder and Mary Fitton along with freshman Peyton Smith. Jacqueline Taeubel, Larder, and Smith all rowed on the 1V8 while Rachel Taeubel and Fitton were members of the 2V8.

Minimum academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. Athletic achievements during the most recent season are also considered in selecting the All-ACC Academic Team. The ACC Honor Roll, which recognized all conference student-athletes with a GPA of 3.0 for the current academic year will be released in July.
