Eagles Place Third as Hosts at BC Team Race

DORCHESTER, Mass. – Boston College finished third overall out of six schools on Friday and Saturday as the program hosted the BC Team Race at the Savin Hill Yacht Club.

Boston College's team of skippers Robert Hunter, Colleen O'Brien and Jack DeNatale and crew Nicole Moeder, Laura Ferraris and Elizabeth Russell posted a 7-8 record in three round robins. Roger Williams won the regatta with a 13-2 record, while Coast Guard placed second at 11-4.

The Eagles also sent two teams to compete in the Salve Regina Fleet Race on Saturday in Newport. BC's first team finished fourth out of nine teams, which included event winner Rhode Island, Roger Williams, Coast Guard, and Salve Regina.

Boston College returns to action on Saturday (April 10) at Coast Guard in New London, Connecticut.
