No. 10 Eagles Beat No. 14 Blue Devils

NEWTON, Mass. – The No. 10 Boston College field hockey team closed its regular season with a 2-1 win over No. 14 Duke on Saturday, April 17 in Newton, Mass.
The Eagles were out-shot in the game, 13-11, while BC had seven shots on goal to Duke's four.
Caroline McGovern opened the scoring off a pass from Elizabeth Warner, which she carried into the circle and fired home for the goal in the 14th minute.
The game would be scoreless for the next 30 minutes until Olivia Hahn carried the ball into the circle and shot the ball into the bottom left corner past the Duke goalkeeper in the 46th minute.
Just 30 seconds later Duke would get one back, tapping home a loose ball in front of the goal.
Duke pulled its goalkeeper with three and a half minutes to play but couldn't find the back of the net.

BC awaits its fate to see if they make the NCAA Tournament. The selection show is Saturday, April 24 at 10 p.m. on NCAA.com.
