Kennedy Named ACC Defensive Player of the Week

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Junior goalkeeper Jonna Kennedy has been named ACC Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the conference Tuesday.
North Carolina's Erin Matson and Syracuse's Pleun Lammers were named ACC Co-Offensive Players of the Week.
Kennedy had 10 saves while recording two shutout wins for the Eagles, registering five apiece in a 2-0 win over New Hampshire and a 3-0 win over Vermont. The Watertown, Massachusetts, native currently leads the ACC with an average 7.43 saves per game, nearly three more per game than the next-closest keeper.
BC is back in action Friday, March 19 at North Carolina with a 2 p.m. start.
