Eagles Fall at Notre Dame to Close Road Trip

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Boston College's last stop this weekend on its ACC road trip was at Notre Dame, resulting in a 7-0 defeat at the Eck Tennis Pavilion.

The Eagles dropped to 0-4 on the year (0-4 ACC), while the Fighting Irish improved to 7-6 (2-2 ACC).

BC lost the doubles point, but seniors Santiago Montufar and Max Mendelsohn were leading their match 4-3 when the point was clinched. Shreekar Eedara was the only Eagles player to take his singles match to three sets but the freshman fell in a superbreaker against Tristan McCormick.

Boston College returns home next weekend to host NC State on Friday (March 5) and Wake Forest on Sunday (March 7) in Weymouth.
