
Eagles Distance Medley Finish Highlights Day One at ACC's

DMR places sixth in a time of 9:59.00
CLEMSON, S.C. - Day one is in the books at the 2021 ACC Indoor Track & Field Championship.
In Thursday's action, the distance medley relay team placed sixth overall in a time of 9:59.00. Steven Jackson led off, with a 3:03.48 split for the 1,200m. Marcus Manson clocked 48.82 in the 400m, followed by a 1:53.62 split for 800m by Denis Gallagher. Erik Linden anchored the mile leg in 4:13.09.
Individually, three Eagles competed in the 800m, led by Gallagher's 10th place finish. He clocked a personal-best time of 1:52.08 - eighth-fastest all-time in BC history. Friend Weiler was 19th, in a PR of 1:55.48, while Colin Trigani was 20th (1:56.44).
BC returns to action tomorrow, beginning at 11 a.m. with the long jump. The meet will be streamed live on ACC Network Extra on Friday, beginning at 9:30 a.m.
