MIT Invite Weekend Recap

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- The Eagles had a strong weekend at the MIT Invite, winning every match as a team.Â
On Friday, the Eagles won all five of their doubles matches. Juan Jose Bianchi and Max Motlagh teamed up to go 3-0 on the weekend, winning their matches 6-2, 6-4, and 6-3. Motlagh went on to win all three of his singles matches, beating opponents from Harvard, Boston University, and MIT. Bianchi went undefeated in singles as well, going 3-0 on the weekend.Â
Shreekar Eedara added two singles wins and three doubles wins alongside Bennett Turner, Jake Vassel, and Connor McDonald. Vassel won two of his three singles matches, while McDonald went 3-0 in singles including two victories in straight sets. Turner went 1-1 in singles and 1-0 in doubles with Eedara.Â
Next up for the Eagles is a road test against Yale on November 5.Â
