BC and UConn will meet for a single game on Saturday.

• UConn and Boston College met twice earlier this season, with the Eagles earing a weekend sweep.
ABOUT BOSTON COLLEGE
• BC enters the weekend at 9-3-0 after a two-game sweep of Holy Cross last weekend, earning a 3-2 win at home and a 5-1 win on the road.
• Kelly Browne leads the nation, conference and team in scoring with 15 points on five goals and 10 assists ... Browne is also first in the nation with five multi-point game and 151 face-off wins.
• Savannah Norcross is tied for second in Hockey East with 14 points on a league-leading seven goals and seven assists.

• The Huskies enter the game at 5-5-1 overall ... UConn last played a week ago, earning a two-game sweep of New Hampshire with a 1-0 road win and a 4-0 road win on Jan. 15 and Jan. 16, respectively.
• Savannah Bouzide leads UConn in scoring with nine points on a team-high six goals and three assists ... Viki Harkness has recorded eight points on two goals and six assists while Jada Habisch (3-4-7) and Natalie Snodgrass (3-4-7) have seven points each.
• Tia Chan and Samantha Carpentier-Yelle have split time between the pipes for the Huskies ... Chan is 3-2-1 with a .953 save percentage, 1.32 goals against average and two shutouts ... Carpentier-Yelle is 2-3-0 with a .901 save percentage, 2.57 goals against average and two shutouts.
• UConn went 19-18-2 season in 2019-20, tying a program record with 13 Hockey East wins.
• The Huskies returned six of the top eight point getters from a season ago including leading scorer Snodgrass ... Snodgrass had 33 points on 16 goals and 17 assists en route to Hockey East Second Team All-Star honors last year.
• Chris MacKenzie is in his ninth season as head coach of the Huskies.

• On Friday, Holy Cross took a 1-0 lead and BC responded to hold a 2-1 lead ... after the Crusaders tied things up, Savannah Norcross potted the game-winning goal with under five minutes to go ... Kelly Pickreign made 25 saves to move to 3-1-0.
• Saturday's game saw Alexie Guay score two goals and Kelly Browne register three points ... Hadley Hartmetz chipped in two helpers while Hannah Bilka had two points on one goal and one assist ... Abigail Levy made 26 saves to move to 2-1-0.
• Guay earned Hockey East Defensive Player of the Week honors for her three-goal weekend ... Guay's three goals tied for the national lead on the weekend.
A BALANCED BC ATTACK
• The Eagles have had 13 different goal scorers so far this season while 16 different players have recorded at least one point and nine players have at least six points each.
• Ten players have recorded multi-point games for BC while four players have had multi-goal games.
• The Eagles have three players with multiple game-winning goals in Gaby Roy, Jillian Fey and Savannah Norcross ... six players total of tallied game-winners for BC, tied for Providence for the most in the country.
• Through the first six games of the year, 10 different players scored a goal ... it marked the first time since the 2016-17 season that BC had 10 different goal scorers through the first six games.
• Through the first 12 games of the season, Kelly Browne has racked up a nation-leading 15 points on five goals and 10 assists.
• Browne's 151 face-off wins is also first in the country while her winning percentage (65.4%) is first among players who have taken more than 200 draws.
• The captain also leads the nation with five multi-point games so far this season, including the third multi-goal game of her career with two scores at UConn on Dec. 4 -- a performance that included a short-handed goal and a game-winning goal.
• She opened up the season with a career-long six-game point streak and has points in nine out of 12 contests.
• Browne was named the Hockey East Player of the Week on Dec. 7 for her three goal, one assist weekend against UConn.
• The junior recorded 36 points on 13 goals and 23 assists a season ago while earning Hockey East Third Team All-Star honors.
• Through her first 150 face offs, she had a 62% win rate, marking the highest winning percentage for a BC player through the first 150 faceoffs of a season since Alex Carpenter won 69% during the 2015-16 season.
• Browne currently hast 963 face-off wins, needing 37 to reach 1,000 for her career ... her single-game career high for wins is 21, coming in a 3-3 tie with Maine on Oct. 26, 2019.
THE NORCROSS NOTE
• Savannah Norcross is currently second on the team and tied for second in the nation with 14 points on seven goals and seven assists ... her seven helpers already mark a career-high while her seven goals on the year leads Hockey East.
• Norcross started the year with a career-long six-game point streak ... she opened the season with a career-high three assist game at New Hampshire on Nov. 20 and then reeled off a three-game goal scoring streak.
• She has assisted on three game-winning goals and scored two game-winning goals herself, potting winners against UConn and Holy Cross.
• Norcross has tallied three multi-point outings on the year and now has seven in her career ... the junior has at least one point in 10 of BC's 12 games.
• The Lynn, Mass. native has picked up right where she left off last season, as she recorded career highs in points (17), goals (11) and assists (6) as a sophomore.
