Introducing the Eagles UNLTD Mailbag!

This week was supposed to be one of the most enjoyable times of the sporting calendar. The NHL's regular season should be closing in on the Stanley Cup Playoffs, and the NBA would be jockeying for playoff seeding. MLB's 2020 season would be readying to begin, and March Madness would wind down after two weekends of absolute chaos. College hockey expected to converge on Detroit for the Frozen Four under the memories of last year's Masters.Â
Losing all of that hurts, even if we know we are living in a unique time period in our history. Sports seem secondary at times in the grand picture developing around us. It only makes us long for them all the more, knowing we will one day return to stadiums to revel together.
One of the hardest things for me is the lost discussion, especially about spring college football. The good news, though, is that we can drum that up as best as we can.Â
This week, we're going to introduce a new segment to the Eagles UNLTD family of posts with our first-ever mailbag. You'll be able to ask questions about the Boston College football program, and we will answer them to the best of our abilities. Make it historical. Make it fun. Make it about my obsession with being from Boston.Â
I understand how difficult this time can be for all of us as sports fans. More than anyone, I want to wake up on a Saturday to throw my golf clubs in the car for a quick 18-hole excursion before driving to the Harrington Athletics Village to watch BC baseball. But since we can't, let's pass the time together, talking about the Eagles.
To submit your question, email us at athcomm@bc.edu. I look forward to hearing from everyone and opening the door to a new opportunity to talk BC football.
All the best,
Dan
