Field Hockey Announces Spring/Summer Clinic Dates

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Head Coach Kelly Doton has announced the spring and summer clinic dates with Boston College field hockey. The four dates are from April-July.

On April 19, the team will host a 7v7 tournament for the U12, U14, U16 and U19 age groups. During the clinic, there will be a 20 minute skill clinic to open the day, followed by games that will be 25 minutes long. Each team will be guaranteed four games and can be coached by BCFH players by request.

Then, from June 1-3, the Eagles will host the 2020 Goalkeeping Academy Elite clinic, where participants will receive instruction from BC field hockey staff. There will be three sessions, running from 6-8 p.m. and is open to ages 12-19.

There will also be three skills clinics, on June 4th, 9th and 11th. Sessions will run from 6-8:30 p.m. and are open to ages 12-19. Options are available to participate in just one or all three skills clinics.

BC will also host an overnight clinic, from July 6-8. Open to ages 8-19, there will be a morning and afternoon skills session with games in the evenings.

The last clinic BC is offering is the Eagle Elite Prep Clinic on July 20 from 1-4:15 p.m. It is open to ages 12-19 and will cover passing and hitting, receiving, tracking ball handling, stick work, defense and goal-scoring.
