- A five game win streak is on the line as Boston College is at  No. 5/6 Louisville (25-3, 14-2 ACC) on Thursday night at 6 p.m.
- BC is now 17-10 overall record and a 10-6 ACC mark. The Eagles are in a three-way tie in fourth place in the ACC with No. 19 FSU and Virginia Tech. In the preseason polls, BC was selected to finish 13th in the ACC.
- This is the second meeting between BC and Louisville this season. In the first games, Louisville defeated BC, 81-70, at Conte Forum on Jan. 16.
- Boston College is coming off a 75-64 victory over Miami on Sunday.. Senior forward Georgia Pineau had a season-high 20 points and eight boards, while senior Emma Guy contributed 17 points. Sophomore Taylor Soule scored 16 points.
- No. 5/6 Louisville (25-3, 14-2 ACC) has won four straight games. The Cards defeated Pittsburgh on Sunday, 79-47, without Dana Evans in the lineup. Kylie Shook led the Cards with 17 points, 10 rebounds and five blocks.

BC vs. Louisville
- This is the ninth meeting between Boston College and Louisville.
- The Cardinals lead the overall series, 7-1. Prior to joining the ACC the two teams played twice.
- BC's only victory over Louisville came in the first meeting on Dec. 28, 1985. BC defeated the Cards, 74-68, as Marie Grant tallied 20 points with nine boards at the WRAL Classic hosted by NC State.
- Last season BC lost at Louisville, 87-51, at the end of February. Sydney Lowery led BC with 12 points and five rebounds. Louisville was led by Asia Durr with 23 points.
- Head Coach Joanna Bernabei-McNamee and current Louisville head coach Jeff Walz were assistants for Maryland when the Terps won the 2005-06 National Championship.
- BC assistant coach AJ Cohen got his start at Louisville as a practice player and video assistant coordinator. He is a 2013 graduate of Louisville.

- The 10-6 record in the ACC is the most wins in a conference since BC went 10-6 in the Big East in '04-05.
- BC has won five straight games and is 7-1 in the last eight games.
- This is also the first time BC has won five consecutive ACC games since the '05-06 season. The streak started at Clemson and continued with homes wins vs. Notre Dame, UNC, Pittsburgh and Miami. In '05-06 season BC won six straight (vs. UVA, NC State, Wake Forest, Clemson, Georgia Tech & Miami) – four of the games were home.
 - The Eagles have won five ACC road games, a new program record. The previous record of four ACC road wins was set in the 2008-09 season.
- BC is now 6-1 in the month of February. It ties the program record set by the 1986-87 (6-3), 1987-88 (6-2) teams and in 2003-04 (6-1).

- Sophomore Taylor Soule was named the ACC Player of the Week for the second straight week. The Eagles are 9-1 when Soule records a double-double.
