Volleyball head coach Jason Kennedy earned Under 40 Hotshot recognition following 2019 season
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- Boston College volleyball head coach Jason Kennedy has been recognized as an Under 40 Coaching Hotshot by VolleyballMag.com, as announced by the publication on Monday. The list recognizes up-and-coming NCAA Division I women's, Division I-II men's and beach volleyball coaches across the country.
In just his second season at the helm of the Eagles' program, Kennedy led the team to its first-ever postseason bid with an invitation to the 2019 National Invitational Volleyball Championship. The Eagles finished the season with 20 overall wins to match its program-best finish: a feat that hadn't been accomplished in the ACC era at Boston College. The team stormed out to a 5-0 start in conference play for the first time en route to the most-ever league wins in program history.
