Carter Named to All-ACC Cross Country Academic Team

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Atlantic Coast Conference announced Thursday the 2019 All-ACC Cross Country Academic Team, with freshman Jack Carter as the lone member from BC.

A freshman marketing major, Carter had his best finish at the Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown, where he placed 19th and ran a 16:15 on the 5k course. At the ACC Championships, the Sudbury, Massachusetts native came in 101st with a time of 26:45.1 on the 8k course.

Minimum academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. Athletic achievements during the most recent season are also considered in selecting the All-ACC Academic Team.
