Three Earn Preseason All-America Honors

Charlotte North earns her first All-American nod as an Eagle as Cara Urbank and Abbey Ngai earn honorable mentions
BALTIMORE, Md. – Three members of the Boston College lacrosse team have earned Preseason All-America recognition from Inside Lacrosse. Charlotte North highlights as the Eagles' sole First Team selection as senior captain Cara Urbank and junior goalkeeper Abbey Ngai earn honorable mentions.
One of the newest members of the team, North was a standout attack at Duke, leading the Blue Devils in scoring as a freshman and sophomore before transferring to Boston College. During her time at Duke, she was a two-time Tewaaraton Watch List selection and All-ACC Second Team selection. She also earned placement on the IWLCA All-South Region First Team as a sophomore.
Urbank finished her junior season with the third-highest goal count on the team with 55, behind only Tewaaraton finalists Sam Apuzzo and Dempsey Arsenault. She also earned her first All-Northeast Region First Team honor and placement on the All-ACC Second Team as a junior.
Ngai finished her first season as the Eagles' starting goalkeeper with 153 saves through 994 minutes played, highlighted by a 15-1 decision record through 21 games played and 18 starts. Her .475 season save percentage placed her at No. 22 in the country at the end of the season, en route to placement on both the All-ACC Second Team and IWLCAÂ All-Northeast Region First Team.Â
