
Biele, Clark Named Eagles of the Week

Parker Biele from skiing and Matt Clark from swimming have been named the Eagles of the Week.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College junior Parker Biele and freshman Matt Clark have been named the Musco Lighting Eagles of the Week for their performances over the weekend.

Biele set a program record for the highest EISA finish ever by a BC women's alpine skier at the Harvard Carnival over the weekend at Waterville Valley. The Woodstock, Vt. native was 13th after her first run in the women's giant slalom on Saturday before eventually placing 14th overall for her fourth career top-20 GS finish. Biele is currently ranked 21st overall in the Nor-Am Cup giant slalom standings after finishing 16th in both races.

In two swimming meets against Fordham and Bucknell, Clark earned five individual event wins and was a member of two first-place relay teams. Against Bucknell, the Havre de Grace, Md. native placed first in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:39.18 finish. He also won the 100-yard freestyle (45.46) and the 200-yard individual medley (1:51.41). Against Fordham, Clark placed first in both the 100-yard breaststroke (57.19) and the 100-yard freestyle (45.88). He also swam a leg of the first-place 200-yard medley relay squads in both meets.
