Eagles 15th in the final fall Learfield IMG College Directors’ Cup
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – In the final fall Division I Learfield IMG College Directors' Cup standings, Boston College was 15th nationally with 212.0 points. The Learfield IMG College Directors' Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in NCAA Championships.
BC is one of nine ACC institutions in the Top 25. No other conference in the country has more Top 25 institutions than the ACC in the latest Learfield IMG College Directors' Cup standings.
Field hockey's run to the national semifinals helped fuel the impressive fall finish for the Eagles. Football, women's cross country and men's soccer also finished with postseason points in the fall for BC.
The first winter standings will be published on Thursday, March 26.
