Kennedy Honors Continue, Earns NFHCA Division I Defensive Player of the Week

GILBERT, Ariz. – Boston College sophomore goalkeeper Jonna Kennedy has been named NFHCA Division I Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the NFHCA Wednesday.

Kennedy earned her first shutout of the season, while making six saves to beat ACC foe Wake Forest in Winston-Salem, North Carolina on Friday.

The complete-game shutout was the second of her career and first this season.

Boston College is back in action this weekend against Louisville on Friday, Sept. 27 at 4 p.m. and Saint Joe's on Sunday, Sept. 29 at 12 p.m. Both games will be at the Newton Field Hockey Complex and broadcast live on ACC Network Extra.
