Kennedy Named ACC Defensive Player of the Week

GREENSBORO, N.C. – After a six-save shutout on the road at Wake Forest, sophomore goalkeeper Jonna Kennedy was named ACC Defensive Player of the Week, as announced Tuesday.

Kennedy posted her first full-game shutout since Oct. 28, 2018 against cross-town rival Boston University when BC won, 1-0.

Boston College is back in action this weekend against Louisville on Friday, Sept. 27 at 4 p.m. and Saint Joe's on Sunday, Sept. 29 at 12 p.m. Both games will be at the Newton Field Hockey Complex and broadcast live on ACC Network Extra.
