Eagles Unveil 2019-20 Schedule

The 2019-20 season includes a 27-game Hockey East slate and matchups against Minnesota and Wisconsin at the Country Classic in Nashville, Tenn.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College women's hockey team announced today its schedule for the upcoming 2019-20 season, including a 27-game Hockey East slate and matchups against Minnesota and Wisconsin at the Country Classic in Nashville, Tenn.

BC will host an exhibition game this Saturday, Sept. 21 against the Professional Women's Hockey Players' Association at Conte Forum.

The Eagles open up the 2019-20 season in earnest with a pair of conference games at Merrimack Sept. 27-28. A trip to Holy Cross is on tap for Thursday, Oct. 3 before a non-conference trip to Syracuse (Oct. 5). After a bye week, BC opens up the home slate with an Oct. 18 visit from Merrimack.

After making the trip to Vermont for a single game on Oct. 20, the team returns to Kelley Rink for a season-long four-game home stand. Holy Cross visits on Oct. 25 followed by Maine the next day. BC will play host to New Hampshire (Nov. 1) and Providence (Nov. 2) before traveling to play UConn on Nov. 9.

The Commonwealth Avenue rivalry will be renewed on Nov. 15 with a trip down the road to take on the Terriers. It's then a rematch of last year's Hockey East Tournament title game on Nov. 19 when Northeastern visits Kelley Rink for a Tuesday tilt. A home-and-home series with UConn Nov. 22-23 follows that weekend.

Boston College will then embark on the program's first trip to Tennessee for the Country Classic. BC will join Minnesota, Wisconsin and Harvard at the tournament – with the Eagles set to play Minnesota (Nov. 29) and Wisconsin (Nov. 30).

The Eagles will host Harvard on Dec. 31 for the first game after the holiday break before a home-and-home with Northeastern on Jan. 10 and 12. Vermont comes to town for two games Jan. 17-18 before the team faces off against Providence on Jan. 24 at Kelley Rink and Jan. 25 at Schneider Arena. The regular season series with Holy Cross wraps up at the Heights on Jan. 31.

The 42nd Women's Beanpot begins on Feb. 4, with BC and host BU facing off at 8 p.m. and Northeastern-Harvard in the earlier matchup. The championship and consolation games will be played at Walter Brown Arena on Feb. 11. Between Beanpot Tuesdays, BC will host New Hampshire on Feb. 7. The Eagles will travel to Maine for two games Feb. 14-15 and then wrap up the regular season with a game at New Hampshire on Feb. 22.
