Eagles Announce Non-Conference Schedule

Field Trip Day scheduled for Friday, Dec. 20 at 11 a.m.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Eleven challenging non-conference games including two games in the Puerto Rico Clasico, a road game in the ACC-Big 10 Challenge and five home games at Conte Forum highlight the 2019-20 Boston College women's basketball schedule.
The Eagles will open the season against UMass Lowell on Tuesday, Nov. 5. It will be the fourth meeting between the two teams. BC leads the overall series, 3-0. The Eagles will host St. Francis of Brooklyn on Sunday, Nov. 10 before a two-game road swing.
BC will travel to Worcester to play Holy Cross on Wednesday, Nov. 13. This rivalry dates back to 1979 as the two teams have played 39 times. BC leads the overall series, 30-9.
The Eagles will hit the road to play former Big East foe Providence on Sunday, Nov. 17.
Upon its return to Conte Forum, Boston College will host two Atlantic 10 teams. On Thursday, Nov. 21, BC and Rhode Island will tip off at 7 p.m. The Eagles will host Virginia Commonwealth (VCU) on Sunday, Nov. 24.
The Eagles will travel to Puerto Rico over Thanksgiving break to play two games. BC will play Charlotte on Wednesday, Nov. 27, followed by Tulane from the American Athletic Conference on Thursday, Nov. 28.
In December the Eagles will hit the road in the first three games of the month. BC will travel to Evanston to play Northwestern on Wednesday, Dec. 4.
BC will head down Commonwealth Ave to play Boston University on Sunday, Dec. 15.
The team will host Delaware State on Friday, Dec. 20 at 11 a.m. The game will serve as the annual Field Trip Day for local elementary and middle schools to attend the game. Field Trip Day is free to attend for all students K-through-8 and their chaperones.
The Eagles continue to compete in the No. 1 women's conference in the country. This season BC will play a road and home game against Notre Dame, Louisville, Syracuse and Pittsburgh.
The rest of the road schedule has BC at Clemson, Duke, Florida State, Virginia Tech and Georgia Tech. The Eagles home schedule includes: Virginia, Wake Forest, NC State, Miami and North Carolina.
