Lowe Announces 2019 Captains And Roster

Gaby Carreiro, Erin Convery and Kayla Jennings will captain the 25-player roster for the 2019 season.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College women's soccer team has added 11 newcomers to the 2019 roster, which head coach Jason Lowe released on Tuesday. Additionally, the first-year head coach announced that Gaby Carreiro, Erin Convery and Kayla Jennings have been named tri-captains for the 2019 season.
"I'm really excited about our leadership group this year," said Lowe. "Erin, Gaby and Kayla are great representations of the culture we are creating here at BC, both on and off the field. Together with Emily Langenderfer, Francesca Venezia, Jade Ruiters, Jenna Bike, and Olivia Vaughn, we have eight experienced seniors to lead our team through a very challenging schedule."
Carreiro and Jennings served as captains during the 2018 season while Convery will be a first-time captain for the Eagles.

The seniors will be welcoming 11 new faces to the Heights from seven different states, with nine freshmen and two transfers making up the group. Three of the student-athletes hail from Massachusetts while two each come from Connecticut and Pennsylvania. California, Washington, Colorado and New York all have one student-athlete among the newcomers. The full 26-player roster can be found here.
