CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Following a 14-point week, graduate student captain Kenzie Kent has been tabbed as the National Offensive Player of the Week by the IWLCA. The attacker reigned in Atlantic Coast Conference weekly honors for the performance as well.Â
Kent led all point-scorers over two highly contested matchups with No. 5 Notre Dame and No. 13 Duke. On Wednesday, she put up two goals and assisted on four others while the Eagle offense topped the second-ranked Notre Dame defense en route to a 13-9 win. Following the contest with the Irish, she tallied three goals and five assists for eight points against the Blue Devils on Saturday. The Eagles took the win in dominant fashion, 20-12, to stay perfect on the season.Â
The National Player of the Week honor is the second for the Eagles this season as senior captain Dempsey Arsenault earned the honor on March 13.
