Hutsko, Rietano Named Eagles of the Week

Logan Hutsko helped men's hockey into the Hockey East semifinals while Rietano helped lacrosse move to 9-0.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College sophomore Logan Hutsko and junior Sheila Rietano have been named the Nissan Eagles of the Week for their performances this past weekend.
Hutsko scored two game-winning goals for the men's hockey team this weekend, helping the Eagles to a Hockey East Quarterfinal series win over No. 7 Providence. Down 1-0 in the best-of-three series on Saturday, Hutsko saved BC's season with a goal just 23 seconds into overtime. The Tampa native also had two assists in the game-two win for a season-high three points. On Sunday, Hutsko potted the game-winner with eight minutes left in regulation to snap a 1-1 tie and clinch the upset for the Eagles.
Rietano scored a career-high four goals and added an assist in the lacrosse team's 21-11 win over No. 21 Georgetown on Saturday. The attack was 2-for-2 on free-position attempts and had two draw controls. Rietano's four goals tied for the team-high on the day. The Eagles moved to 9-0 on the season with the non-conference win.
