CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College men's tennis will start its spring break in California as it competes in the 130th annual Pacific Coast Men's Doubles Tournament at La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club from Friday to Sunday (March 1-3). The Eagles then face UC Irvine on Monday (March 4) for a 4 p.m. (ET) dual match at Anteater Tennis Stadium.
ABOUT THE EAGLES
Boston College enters the weekend at 4-5 (0-3 ACC). The Eagles' last match was a 5-2 defeat on the road against Brown on Feb. 19. BC began the match by winning the doubles point against the Bears. Derek Austin and Sean Mullins earned a 6-3 victory in No. 1 doubles, and the team of Conor Mullins and Markus Nordby clinched the point by pulling out their match 7-5. Austin was the only Eagle to win his singles match in Providence as he defeated Peter Litsky in three sets from the No. 1 slot.Â
